Principal Consultant – NetSuite , Restaurant Hospitality Practice
About the role
At NetSuite, we are seeking an experienced consulting professional with a strong understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. This role operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement, applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
Responsibilities
- Travel: Up to 50%
- Gather and document customer business requirements.
- Work with customers to configure NetSuite software to support customer business requirements.
- Assist in solution development for complex business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or complex technical components.
- Define detailed functional requirements for automations and integrations to NetSuite.
- Work with technical teams to design and test automations and integrations.
- Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members.
- Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time and on budget project delivery.
- Achieve or exceed customer satisfaction and billable utilization targets.
- Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of vertical experience desired, including 6+ years of ERP consulting experience strongly preferred.
- 7 + years of overall Relevant work experience.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall relevant professional experience, ideally to include functional NetSuite ERP Financials solution implementations.
- NOTE - competing vendor solution experience may be considered.
- Restaurant & Hospitality and/or Retail industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Point of Sale system experience preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience defining requirements for complex customizations and integrations.
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
- Possess a passion for helping customers find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses.
- Outstanding client facing skills.
- History of building effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Independently organizes and performs most work required with minimal guidance and direction.
- Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundations / ERP Certification a plus.
Range and Benefits
Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 - $166,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
