About the role

A growing workplace solutions organization is seeking a driven and consultative Business Development Manager to join its sales team. This role focuses on developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored workplace solutions that help organizations improve productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and proactive outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including executives, architects, designers, contractors, and end users
  • Conduct client meetings to understand goals, challenges, budgets, and workplace needs
  • Develop and present customized solutions, proposals, and recommendations
  • Manage a strong pipeline of opportunities and drive deals through the full sales cycle
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling and long-term relationship management
  • Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, RFP responses, and project solutions
  • Coincide with design, project management, and support teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a consultative or solution-based environment
  • Proven track record of generating new business and managing a sales pipeline
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management

Qualifications

  • Preferred Experience: Background in workplace solutions, furniture, design, construction, or related industries
  • Existing relationships within architecture, design, or commercial real estate networks
  • Experience working with corporate, healthcare, higher education, or government clients
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Benefits

  • Compensation: Base Salary: $65,000 - $95,000, Uncapped Commission: $25,000 - $75,000+, Total Earnings: $100,000 - $170,000+

Schedule
