About the role
A growing workplace solutions organization is seeking a driven and consultative Business Development Manager to join its sales team. This role focuses on developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored workplace solutions that help organizations improve productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and proactive outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including executives, architects, designers, contractors, and end users
- Conduct client meetings to understand goals, challenges, budgets, and workplace needs
- Develop and present customized solutions, proposals, and recommendations
- Manage a strong pipeline of opportunities and drive deals through the full sales cycle
- Grow existing accounts through upselling and long-term relationship management
- Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, RFP responses, and project solutions
- Coincide with design, project management, and support teams to ensure successful delivery
- Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a consultative or solution-based environment
- Proven track record of generating new business and managing a sales pipeline
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience: Background in workplace solutions, furniture, design, construction, or related industries
- Existing relationships within architecture, design, or commercial real estate networks
- Experience working with corporate, healthcare, higher education, or government clients
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Compensation: Base Salary: $65,000 - $95,000, Uncapped Commission: $25,000 - $75,000+, Total Earnings: $100,000 - $170,000+
