About the role
The North American Specialist team works directly with customers to solve complex challenges. We are part of the Account Team, focusing on account planning, opportunity identification, and pursuit.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing GTM strategies within assigned accounts and technology domains.
- Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with deep technical expertise, and solving compelling business problems.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions addressing specific customer needs.
- Co-develop GTM motions on new product launches and work with product teams on innovative new services.
- Partner with system integrators to deliver customer projects.
- Educate customers on success stories and AWS enablers such as Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, SageMaker Studio, Kinesis, MSK, and OpenSearch.
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.
- Accelerate customer adoption of Amazon analytics services.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline leveraging sales force automation tools and best practices.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.
- 5+ years of technology sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS technologies.
Pay
Base salary range: $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 USD annually
Schedule
Expect moderate travel.
