Pricing Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage renewal and new business implementation workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution of sold pricing and plan design changes.
- Complete implementation steps for sold and renewing business, completing all necessary actions to ensure accurate case setup and successful transition to downstream teams.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to coordinate resolution of implementation issues, escalations, and process-related challenges.
- Determine pricing for the various products and services we offer, customized for each individual case using a variety of forecast models.
- Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business problems regularly in a dynamic work environment.
- Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data with an aptitude for technical skills.
- Validate renewals, repricing requests, and request for proposal (RFP) submissions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of project workflow coordination and/or management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of workflow requests while collaborating effectively with internal partners across multiple teams
- Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience
- Pharmacy Benefit Management experience
- Database querying exposure
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookup, Sumif Statements, and understanding formulas)
Telecommuting Requirements
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Pay and Benefits
The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
