About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on growing, deepening, and retaining these clients' banking relationships through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Convert referrals, leads, and outbound prospects into new clients, and engage in regular client meetings to discuss financial information and solutions.
- Provide excellent client service, escalate issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
- Facilitate loan applications and closings, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining an active NMLS registration.
- Collaborate with partners across wealth, commercial, small business, and lending to deepen client relationships and prepare for future interactions.
- Coach bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
- Implement and comply with the Bank's Client Identification Program (CIP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to business objectives by championing compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate documentation, and meeting individual performance metrics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
- Licensed in Life and Health preferred
- Experience with retail and small business banking
- Understanding and experience with TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures
Qualifications
- Consultative sales experience required
- Ability to establish and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach and ongoing engagement
- Knowledgeable in products and services to act as an advisor to clients
- Ability to understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
- Ability to deliver client end-to-end advice and advocate for them with proactive insights and recommendations
- Ability to consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its clients, and stakeholders
- Ability to work as a single point of contact to clients, connecting them with partners as needed

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
