About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on managing and addressing banking needs through a proactive, advice-based approach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with a book of business of mass affluent clients.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospecting efforts to acquire new clients.
  • Engage in client outreach via phone, email, and appointments to conduct needs-based conversations.
  • Review and analyze financial information, suggest appropriate solutions, and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate loan applications and closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
  • Collaborate with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors to deepen relationships and prepare for future client interactions.
  • Coach and provide feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of financial/banking experience.
  • Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE).
  • Preferred Life & Health license.
  • Experience with retail and small business banking.
  • Understanding and experience with TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration status.
  • Strong consultative sales experience.
  • Customer service skills to perform a broad range of both routine and multi-step transactions.
  • Proactive outreach and ongoing engagement with clients.
  • Understanding of client banking preferences and ability to educate clients on current promotions and campaigns.
  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance policies.
  • Ability to understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy.
  • Ability to deliver client end-to-end advice and advocate for them with proactive insights & recommendations.

  • Proficiency in banking and credit products, offerings, and processes.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
