About the role

The Premier Banker role is responsible for servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on growing, deepening, and retaining these clients through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospects into new clients, and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Provide excellent client service, escalate issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Engage in conversations with clients about loan products and facilitate loan applications and closings.
  • Understand and comply with regulations, TD policies, and procedures, and implement the Client Identification Program (CIP).
  • Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors for warm referrals and joint pipeline review meetings.
  • Coach bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
  • Deliver the TD Premier program to eligible clients, educate them on products and services, and provide consultative support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and operational requirements, and document transactions accurately.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience
  • Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • Licensed in Life and Health
  • Experience with retail and small business banking
  • Active NMLS registration
  • Consultative sales experience

Qualifications

  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration
  • Ability to understand and adhere to regulations and policies
  • Ability to understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
