About the role
The Premier Banker role is an experienced position that involves servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role is responsible for managing and addressing the banking needs of these clients through proactive outreach and maintaining strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Grows, deepens, and retains client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience.
- Manages a complex client portfolio and connects clients to specialists to ensure all financial needs are met.
- Converts referrals, leads, and outbound prospects to acquire and retain new mass affluent clients.
- Engages in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means to conduct needs-based conversations and review financial information.
- Delivers excellent client service, reviews banking related issues/risks, and escalates appropriately.
- Maintains an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).
- Partners regularly with the Wealth Financial Advisor for warm referrals and joint pipeline review meetings.
- Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the program's value and make Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
- Understands and adheres to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
- Implements TD’s client Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information and performing other client Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements as outlined in the Business Unit AML procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial / banking experience
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) strongly preferred
- Life & Health license preferred
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications

$25.75 - $41.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
