Pre-Construction Associate

About the role

The Pre-Construction Associate Position at Dee Cramer involves providing accurate take-offs to Estimators and Project Managers using various estimating resources. Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications, tracking and compiling relevant data, managing project documentation, assisting with BIM and drafting tasks, and supporting the handoff of awarded projects to operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate take-offs to Estimators and Project Managers using various estimating resources
• Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Track and compile data pertinent to Dee Cramer Preconstruction analytics
• Manage project documentation
• Assist with BIM and drafting tasks
• Support the handoff of awarded projects to operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of mechanical construction design or estimating support experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Excel and Office Suite experience required
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma, Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit, and/or Autodesk MEP Suite
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
