The Role
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, preferably working in construction law. However, candidates with general litigation or real estate experience will be considered. We represent owners, designers, contractors, and project teams on both public and private projects. Our practice is supported by land-use, environmental, real estate, and public agency attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction disputes
- Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts
- Advise clients on compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Prepare and review legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Present arguments in court and before administrative agencies
Requirements
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California Bar
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- High level of analytical skills
- Excellent and highly adaptable communication skills
