About the role
A Supply Chain Technician at UP Health System - Marquette plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain. This position is part of a larger healthcare delivery network with facilities across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and adjusts inventory records as needed.
- Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
- Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
- Answers the telephone, receives dock, and walk-up window requests professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
- Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
- Processes outgoing mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
