Coordinator Preservice
What you’ll do:
In this role, you will serve as a key operational partner, coordinating patient access activities, supporting team members, and working closely with leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional who enjoys mentoring others, driving process improvements, and creating a positive experience for patients and colleagues alike.
What You’ll Coordinate:
- daily operational, technical, and clerical activities
- patient access functions, including registration, scheduling, financial clearance, emergency department access, and related services
- patient flow
- data collection
- patient information management
- workflow optimization
What You’ll Assist Leadership With:
- managing patient access functions
- onboarding and orientation activities for new colleagues
- performance improvement initiatives
What You’ll Lead and Coordinate:
- onboarding and orientation activities for new colleagues
- ongoing education, coaching, and professional development of team members
- departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards
- performance feedback
- operational planning
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience with competency in patient access, pre-service & / or registration experience
- Ability to obtain a national certification in HFMA CRCR & / or NAHAM CHAA within one (1) year of hire
Nice to Have:
- Previous Leadership Experience
- Knowledge of federal or state government agencies including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, VA or Charity Care programs, or patient management & healthcare accounts receivable within the revenue cycle

Compensation:
Pay Range: $19.07- $29.55 per hour
