Practice Manager - Urgent Care

Overview

Open Door Health Services is seeking a full-time Practice Manager at 1651 E. 29th St. in Muncie, Indiana. The role involves leading the day-to-day operations of the Urgent Care clinic, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinic operations including patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Ensure appropriate coverage across all hours of operation to support patient access
• Optimize throughput, including door-to-provider time and overall length of stay
• Maintain clinic readiness including supplies, equipment, and environment of care
• Partner with providers and clinical leadership to support clinic performance
• Review trends to inform staffing, scheduling, and operational decisions
• Lead performance improvement efforts and support accreditation readiness
• Supervise and support staff including medical assistants and front office team members
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Serve as a point of support for patient and staff concerns
