Practice Manager II

Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of clinics and their programs and activities.
- Develops, implements, and organizes policies and procedures governing clinic operations.
- Carry out performance evaluations for staff positions.
- Interpret and communicate practice policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc.
- Periodically reviews and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Consults with market manager, practice supervisors, and staff on operational matters, problem-solving, and service improvements.
- Makes written and oral reports and recommendations to leadership regarding clinic operations.
- Maintains an adequate liaison with patients and ensures accurate public information about services.
- Maintains an excellent public relations program that serves the best interests of the practice and the community.
- Maintains positive relationships with the medical profession, providers, and other health-related facilities and organizations.
- Affirms the tone and atmosphere of the practice and creates a Healthy Work Environment.
- Directs the activities and programs of the market/division.
- Develops and maintains the practice budget.
- Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires practice personnel, supervisors, and staff members.
- Ensures an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet patient needs.
- Adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement."
Requirements
Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting. Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
