Practice Manager
About the role
Our office, Endodontic Specialists of NEPA – Hazleton, is seeking a Practice Manager to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Practice Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent patient service and implement the right processes and practices across the organization
- Mentor team members and find ways to increase the quality of the patient experience
- Implement best practices across all levels
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Help organizational processes remain legally compliant
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Train and supervise staff
- Facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed

You’re a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who can proactively adjust to shifting priorities and values the chance to make an important impact.
You also have the following:
- 1+ years of dental management experience required
- Knowledgeable in insurance verification, claims, and resolution processes
- Understanding of management of patient & insurance accounts receivable
- Ability to maintain employee relations
- Excellent payroll management & oversight
- Understanding of profit & loss—controlling expenses
- Knowledgeable in standard OSHA & HIPAA practices & policies
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
- Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Ability to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Pay
Position base pay range: $45,000 – $50,000 USD
