About the role
The Practice Manager oversees the daily operations of a multi-modality imaging center, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational performance goals. This role manages staff performance, patient scheduling, financial outcomes, regulatory compliance, and physician relations.
Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of the imaging center.
- Ensure efficient patient scheduling and workflow.
- Monitor facility performance, productivity, and patient volume.
- Coordinate coverage for front office, technologists, and support staff.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and attendance.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Financial Oversight
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue performance.
- Review billing processes and reimbursement trends.
- Manage accounts receivable and insurance authorization workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Patient Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Resolve patient complaints and concerns promptly.
- Monitor patient wait times and service standards.
- Implement patient-centered process improvements.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, ACR, and state regulations.
- Maintain facility accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures.
- Monitor quality metrics and patient safety initiatives.
- Physician and Referral Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians.
- Support physician recruitment and retention efforts.
- Coordinate communication between radiologists, providers, and staff.
- Assist with marketing and business development activities.
- Strategic Planning
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify growth opportunities and service enhancements.
- Lead projects related to technology, workflow, and process improvement.
- Support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management, required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field preferred.
- Oncology experience, highly desired.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $98,200 - $162,750
