The Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. As a team leader at a "people first" organization, the PM guides their team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management. They are responsible for enhancing patient experiences, driving top line sales, increasing margins, controlling payroll expenses, and boosting profitability to meet the company's overall business objectives.

• Guides team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensures memorable experiences with each patient, keeping score, and driving top line sales
• Works directly with staff and OD partners to provide professional eye exams, medical services, quality product selection, acceptance of vision insurance plans, and remarkable patient service
• Builds an effective team that collaborates to achieve results
• Identifies and selects top talent that aligns with AEG's values and meets long-term sustainability needs
• Works closely with the District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice
• Learns quickly and adapts to new problems, seeking creative solutions
• Ensures daily sales reviews, identifies gaps, and implements solutions to close those gaps
• Reinforces the practice selling strategy and the Acuity Way
• Protects the company through loss prevention
• Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure employees adhere to handbook guidelines

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related management field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Optician Certification preferred
