About the role
The Practice Manager leads ambulatory care operations, ensuring excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance, patient experience, equity, patient access, financial stewardship, caregiver engagement, and growth. Responsibilities include making employment decisions, supporting ancillary services, and overseeing clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and inspires a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Develops a vision for the practice and executes plans to achieve it.
- Collaborates with 5 to 13 Physicians and/or APPs and 12-30 Caregivers, overseeing approximately 1 to 4 clinics.
- Makes employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action decisions.
- Serves as a point person for ancillary services such as human resources and information systems.
- Manages a department budget and supports financial stewardship.
- Supports and develops up to 3 direct leader reports.
Requirements
- Leadership experience and ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and influencing non-direct reports.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, and advanced applications.
- Problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.
- Experience managing a department budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $34.01 - $52.51, with actual rates dependent on experience.
