The Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. As a team leader at a "people first" organization, the PM guides their team through development programs including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. The PM ensures memorable experiences for patients, drives top line sales, increases margins, controls payroll expenses, and enhances profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

• Guides team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensures quality eye exams and medical services, accepts vision insurance plans, and provides remarkable patient service.
• Works closely with staff and OD partners to address unique strengths and challenges, set clear objectives, and communicate expectations.
• Recruits and retains top talent aligned with AEG's values and company handbook guidelines.
• Collaborates with District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice.
• Adapts to new problems, learns quickly, and shares best practices within the AEG platform.
• Efficiently uses resources to accomplish various goals through superior service.
• Reviews daily sales, identifies gaps, and implements solutions to close those gaps.
• Promotes the practice selling strategy and the Acuity Way.
• Protects the company from loss through loss prevention measures.
• Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure employee commitment to company guidelines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity.
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related experience in management field.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Optician Certification preferred.
