Practice Manager

About the role

The Practice Manager at HCA Florida Lake Nona Primary Care is responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day functions of the clinic to ensure compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. They also manage staff performance, develop the practice budget, and address operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day functions and activities of the clinics
• Manage staff performance including supervising, coaching/counseling front office and clinical staff daily and interviewing, hiring, and training new staff
• Address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients and seek out appropriate leaders or partners to solve operational workflow gaps and implement process improvements
• Develop the practice budget to manage profit and loss responsibility of the physician practice, while continuously analyzing revenue, expenses and budget targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent is highly preferred (appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements)
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting is required
• Leadership or management experience in physician practice is highly preferred

Qualifications

Skills

Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities are essential.
