Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to expand their Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Tampa, FL!
Responsibilities
- Creates a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of the transportation engineering practice
- Aids in marketing and business development efforts with existing local municipal, state, and private clients
- Delivers a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and/or ITS-related projects with the team
- Beyond serving existing clients, pursues personal passions, leads, and clients
- Leads and grows a Transportation/Traffic practice
Qualifications
- 15+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in the local area
- Established relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalities
- Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
- Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Manages and mentors staff and directs resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a lucrative bonus program rewarding performance and business growth. Salary Range: $150,000- $200,000
