Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to expand their Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Los Angeles, California (CA).
Responsibilities
- Creates a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of the transportation engineering practice.
- Aids in marketing and business development efforts with local municipal, state, and private clients.
- Delivers a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and/or ITS-related projects.
- Serves existing clients and pursues new passions, leads, and clients.
- Manages transportation projects profitably, transitions work to qualified staff, grows and mentors staff, and acts as a positive leader and mentor.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in the local area.
- Established relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems.
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong management and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
Pay
Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $260,000
Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation.
