Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational guidance to primary care facilities within the region.
  • Develop and implement standardized operational processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance and administration teams to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets.
  • Monitor revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, and collections, to optimize revenue generation and financial sustainability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to maximize resource utilization and minimize expenses.
  • Manage the OKR/Goal setting for those in the Management Incentive Plan in a manner that encourages both individual and team results.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling, billing, and medical records management.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis, financial management, and project management.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Education and Experience

  • Education: Associate degree in healthcare administration required. In lieu of an associate degree, eight years of experience in healthcare management is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. RN Preferred.
  • Licensure: RN may be required for management of certain practices for ODH requirements.
  • Certification: Certificate in Healthcare Management required within two years of employment.
  • Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience managing multiple healthcare facilities, preferably in an ambulatory practice management setting, required.
  • Years of supervisory experience: Minimum of 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations and people management, preferably within an ambulatory practice management setting, required.
