About the role
The Tabrizi Lab at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks two Postdoctoral Scholars to join a team focused on leveraging liquid biopsies for diagnostic and therapeutic applications in cancer.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects studying the biology of extracellular nucleic acids
- Study the modulation of extracellular nucleic acids for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Apply these technologies to track normal tissue toxicity and tumor response during cancer therapy
- Present findings at national and international meetings
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements
- PhD, MD or MD/PhD degree
- Background in molecular biology, genomics, cancer biology, and/or bioengineering
- Previous experience in immunology and with mouse models preferred but not required
- Strong track record of productivity
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Qualifications

- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency preferred
