Position Highlights

The Jiang Lab in the Department of Molecular Oncology is recruiting a Cancer Biology Postdoctoral Fellow. Research in our lab sits at the interface of redox biology, metabolism, and signaling, with a focus on understanding how antioxidant systems regulate oxidative stress responses and cancer therapy resistance. We combine molecular biology, functional genomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and in vivo models to address these questions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive independent research projects under the guidance of the PI.
  • Communicate regularly with the PI regarding research progress, experimental plans, and data interpretation.
  • Collaborate with lab members, including technicians, students, and other postdoctoral fellows.
  • Present research findings at conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.

Credentials and Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, or a related field is required.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to lead and drive projects independently.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
