About the Role

Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with a focus on patient-centered care for diverse populations, including those with CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care utilizing advanced technology such as telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards.
• Perform skills including EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
• Apply critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, and rehabilitation professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within six months.
• Minimum of one year of relevant RN experience for PRN roles; all certifications required upon hire.

Preferred Skills

• BSN degree.
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
