About the role
Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. The unit features 24 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, supporting a variety of critical care needs with advanced monitoring tools, patient lifts, and communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Providing patient care for individuals with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
- Utilizing skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
- Demonstrating critical thinking, effective delegation, and time management while collaborating with PCTs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT.
Qualifications
- Accredited nursing program.
- Ohio RN licensure.
- BLS certification (within 90 days).
- ACLS certification (within 6 months).
- BSN preferred.
