Post Operative Nurse

About the Role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population with conditions such as heart failure, COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and sepsis in a Critical Care Step Down Unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technology including telemetry monitoring
• Assist with bedside procedures (e.g., endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
• Interpret EKGs
• Care for central lines
• Manage ventilators such as Bi-Pap and Trachs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate tasks and ensure effective time management

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Ohio RN licensure
• BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• At least 1 year of relevant RN experience for PRN roles
• All required certifications must be current at time of hire
