Post Operative Nurse

About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, primarily managing patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
• Utilize critical thinking, delegation, and time management skills
• Collaborate with Nursing Assistants, Interns, Providers, PT, and OT staff to deliver comprehensive care in a 14-bed unit equipped with advanced monitoring technology

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Relevant RN experience
• All necessary certifications upon hire

Qualifications

Preferred candidates hold a BSN and professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation.
