Post Operative Nurse

About the role

Provide high-quality nursing care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit focused on patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and sepsis.

Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, Physical Therapy (PT), and Occupational Therapy (OT).

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs
• Provide central line care
• Assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management skills

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

• Experience preferred for PRN roles
• BSN or professional certifications (advantageous)

Schedule

Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
