RN Resource Nurse for Med Surg/Post-Op unit.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert bedside care to patients
- Serving as a clinical resource for nursing staff
- Coordinating post-operative recovery and conducting comprehensive assessments
- Managing patient pain and supporting safe, timely discharges
- Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
- Mentoring nurses to promote best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Experience in Med Surg or Post-Op units preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to mentor and guide nursing staff
