About the role
The Salvation Army seeks a Project Support and Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in managing risks, issues, and decisions, creating and submitting status reports, and overseeing project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Project Support and Reporting: Capture, sort, and manage Risks, Issues, and Decisions; Lead RAID Review meetings; Create and submit weekly status reports on Risks and Issues for PMO Projects.
- Create and execute UAT test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with Project/Business Requirements; Analyze test results and report on metrics.
- Create and edit technical, business process, and user-focused materials; Develop and produce videos, tutorials, and other user assistance materials.
- Governance and Process Compliance: Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies; Manage documentation inventory and create a plan for periodic documentation review.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies; Provide risk reports to project stakeholders.
- Tool and Systems Administration: Manage and maintain project management tools; Train and guide project teams on the use of PMO tools; Ensure data accuracy and completeness within project management systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities; Standardize project management processes, templates, and tools; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project delivery and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Risk Management, Business Administration, Project management or related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Strong organizational skills and analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with SDLC, QA techniques, and software development tools, preferred.
- Effective oral and written communications.
- Ability to identify risks, issues, and impacts associated.
- Previous experience in technical roles, Systems Administration, Testing, or Development required.
- Previous PMO analyst experience, preferred.
