About the role
The ideal Plumber I will assist in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems across Dollywood Company properties. They will also work on HVAC systems and perform preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe as needed
- Test pipe systems and fix leaks
- Document repairs and work order requests
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Four years of work experience in a commercial/industrial environment
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto liability insurance
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license and state required auto insurance

- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as air compressors, skill saws, electric drills, impact wrenches, hand wrenches, shovels, etc.
- Able to operate reamers, threading discs, sewer tapes, pipe cutters, snakes, and other plumbing equipment and hand tools
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Able to perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and carrying: up to 100 lbs utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
- Mobile: intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours
- Repetitive movements: performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms, or other body parts as part of typical job functions
- Environmental conditions: varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat
- Cognitive and sensory requirements: strong cognitive skills, including the ability to think critically, solve problems, process and retain information, have attention to detail, and communicate effectively using approved communication methods
- Physical abilities: balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch, and work in confined spaces
- Weight lifting: moderately heavy weight (up to 50 pounds) and occasionally heavier weight (up to 100 pounds)
- Height: work at heights up to and in excess of 150ft
