Piping Design Engineer, Level V

Responsibilities

• Provide design output documentation to support minor facility modifications.
• Develop designs in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1.
• Work with other engineering disciplines and plant organizations to produce timely design output.
• Experience in an NRC or DOE regulated environment is desirable.
• Understand Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance for nuclear regulated facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Able to interface effectively with various clients, production, and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
• Willingness to perform field walk-downs and work in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires an ABET accredited BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline plus 20 or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Requires an MA/MS with 19 years of relevant experience.
• A Q clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
