Equipment Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing optimal machine concepts using engineering principles.
• Providing technical support for equipment and processes, and supporting project management activities.
• Collaborating with external suppliers and plant teams to ensure quality, safety, and cost targets.
• Leading small to medium projects from inception to final design, focusing on characteristic improvements aligned with regional goals.
• Conducting detailed process studies to assess machine capability and communicate issues to design teams.
• Creating specifications, scope of work documentation, and verifying project milestones through online support during installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and knowledge of automated equipment development.
• Strong technical communication skills (written and oral).

Working Conditions

Primarily office work with some on-floor support and verification at manufacturing sites. Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and internationally as needed.
