About the role

VPA is seeking physicians in the Tampa area to join our team. We provide competitive base salary and aggressive quarterly incentive pay, along with comprehensive benefits including a 401K with a match, annual stipend for CME and license/association dues, and UpToDate on tablets and phones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a home setting
• Manage a caseload of up to 10 patients daily
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical integration programs
• Collaborate with a medical assistant and patient care coordinator
• Utilize a web-based EHR with dedicated training and support
• Engage in minimal call responsibilities and no nights or holidays

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Experience in home-based primary care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
• Current Florida Medical License
• Passing score on the National Provider Identifier (NPI) test

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Experience with population health management and value-based care
