About the role

VPA seeks Visiting Physicians to work in the Overland Park, KS area. Providers will collaborate with home health and hospice agencies to establish in-home treatment plans and certify the need for services. The role involves minimal call responsibilities, averaging 10 patients per day, and includes access to modern diagnostic tools and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with home health and hospice agencies to develop in-home treatment plans
• Certify the need for services provided by home health agencies
• Work closely with independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals to coordinate services and patient transitions
• Provide comprehensive care to medically complex patients in their home environment
• Utilize up-to-date software for tablets and phones
• Receive competitive base salary and quarterly incentives
• Participate in an ACO and Shared Savings program

Requirements

• Experience in geriatrics or complex patients preferred
• Active / unrestricted medical license and DEA
• EMR experience required

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred

Pay

$175,000 - $215,000+ annual income potential
