About the role

VPA is seeking physicians in the Madison area to join our team. We offer competitive base salaries and aggressive quarterly incentive pay, with an income potential of up to $190,000.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a home setting
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs
• Collaborate with a medical assistant and patient care coordinator
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical integration efforts
• Utilize best practices in chronic care management and other specialties
• Engage in ongoing professional development through CME stipends and support

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing
• Experience in home-based primary care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine)
• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) exam

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and empathy
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
