About the role

Provides physical therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT).

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring patient progress.
• Documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with the PT on treatment plans.
• Manages a caseload.
• Delivers services at various locations.
• Helps patients with therapeutic activities and daily living tasks, including the use of medical equipment.
• Participates in team meetings, special projects, and other professional development activities.
• Maintains compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• New York State Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• An Associate's Degree from an approved program.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be needed.
• Bilingual skills and basic PC skills are preferred.
