Physical Therapist I, Correctional Facility - Wasco State Prison (WSP)

This position is located at Wasco State Prison (WSP) in Wasco, CA (Kern County). Main communication for this role will be via email.

About the Role

Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Physical Therapist I administers physical therapy treatments, including active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic interventions to patients in a correctional facility.

Schedule

This is a part-time position working 36 hours per week.

Pay

The monthly part-time salary range for this position is $5,139.00 to $7,624.80. Effective July 1, 2025, salaries will be reduced by 3% as part of the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025), with employees receiving 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part-time and permanent intermittent employees are subject to these conditions on a prorated basis.
