Physical Therapist - Full-Time, Day Shift

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality outpatient and home health care services with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities Include Administering standard physical therapy treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.Evaluating patients promptly and developing effective treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.Documenting assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.Supervising and coordinating treatments administered by PT assistants and aides.Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and promoting patient independence.Providing education to patients, families, and staff on proper lifting techniques, body mechanics, and treatment procedures.Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications Include Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.Valid California Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification.One to two years of relevant experience preferred.Valid California driver’s license for travel requirements.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and relate effectively with patients and staff.Ability to interpret physician orders, develop treatment plans, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Additional Requirements Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods.Adherence to confidentiality and safety protocols, including OSHA standards for blood and body fluid exposure.Proficiency with various therapy and office equipment.
