Role & Responsibilities
- Provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Assist in treating patients through exercises, stretching, massage, gait, and balance training.
- Report patient progress and status to the supervising physical therapist for goal adjustments.
- Assess patients' learning needs and capabilities, considering age, understanding, and emotional state.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Perform duties promptly, competently, and with care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active state license as a PTA.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 6 months PTA experience within the last 5 years.
