Role Overview Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and exercises. Guides patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance exercises. Works with minimal supervision and may mentor staff on technical skills. Key Responsibilities Perform physical therapy interventions and instruct patients on functional activities.Follow treatment precautions and monitor patient responses, reporting changes appropriately.Document treatments and interventions accurately and timely in patient records.Educate and train patients and caregivers, adapting to learning preferences.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required; associate's/technical degree preferred.At least two years of technical experience, preferably in acute care or outpatient settings.Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in applicable states required.CPR/BLS certification and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.
