Pharmacy Claims Analyst - Pharmacy Admin - FT Day Shift
Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using pharmacy health data. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
- Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- 3+ year of data analytics experience in outpatient or retail pharmacies
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Experience utilizing Lean concepts including visibility walls, problem solving
- A3's, and Gemba rounding principles
- Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform
- Experience in software development life cycle
- Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
- Clarity Beaker Certification
- 5+ years of healthcare analytics experience
- 5+ years of experience working with EPIC EHR
- 5+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau
- 5+ Years of experience with quality metric reporting
- 3+ years of experience working with healthcare quality metrics
