Pharmacy Claims Analyst - Pharmacy Admin - FT Day Shift

About the role

The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using pharmacy health data. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using pharmacy health data
• Work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department
• Collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health
• Use UCI Health software such as Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions
• Deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions for quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical/operational reporting for outpatient pharmacies

Requirements

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
• Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• 3+ year of data analytics experience in outpatient or retail pharmacies

Qualifications

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• Experience utilizing Lean concepts including visibility walls, problem solving
• Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform
• Experience in software development life cycle
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
• Clarity Beaker Certification
• 5+ years of healthcare analytics experience
• 5+ years of experience working with EPIC EHR
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau
• 5+ Years of experience with quality metric reporting
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare quality metrics
