Personal Support Specialist (PSS) - Independent Living

About the role

Are you driven to support older adults in living independently with dignity and respect? 75 State Street is seeking a caring Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide hands-on assistance and compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily routines, personal care, and mobility
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Observe and document changes
• Maintain confidentiality
• Respond to emergencies
• Work closely with a supportive team

Requirements

• Experience working with the elderly in a personal care environment preferred
• Valid PSS certification
• Good written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to residents, family, staff, and outside facilities and vendors
• Able to meet facility and state immunization requirements
• Commitment to quality services and treating residents with dignity and respect
• Able to work effectively with others and portray a positive, team-player attitude

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, plus any applicable shift differentials.
