Personal Support Specialist (PSS)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living for older adults with functional limitations and people with disabilities.
• Provide services related to a member’s physical requirements for assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
• Follow an authorized plan of care, which can vary depending on where and who they are working with.
• Assist with showering/bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Help with meal service, laundry, housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma.
• Personal Support Specialist Certification OR willingness to train for certification.
• Experience with or desire to spend your work day caring for people, especially those who are older and/or chronically ill.
• Focus on a high level of customer service.
• Ability to work with independence, flexibility, good judgment, verbal communication, and creating a safe environment.

Pay

$2,000 sign on bonus for eligible employees.

Schedule

Current openings for 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am shifts.
