Personal & Residential Lending - Collector II

About the role

We are seeking a Collector II to join our team. This role involves handling outbound collection calls on Consumer and 1-4 RE Portfolio/Serviced Loans from 15 to 120+ days past due. Key responsibilities include evaluating the client's financial situation, negotiating repayment resolutions, monitoring Charged-Off Loans, assigning them to third-party Collection Agencies, overseeing the Repossession and Liquidation Process of motorized vehicles and boats, and fielding inbound calls for quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the client’s current financial situation and negotiate satisfactory repayment resolutions
• Monitor Charged-Off Loans and assign them to third-party Collection Agencies
• Oversight of the Repossession and Liquidation Process of motorized vehicles and boats
• Field inbound calls to provide quality client service to our internal and external client base
• Research and answer non-delinquency questions for clients and business partners

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2+ years in direct collection, client contact, and service
• Previous banking and financial work experience preferred
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant job experience

Work Environment

Office setting with traditional hours. Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours). Must be able to work overtime to the extent necessary.
