Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech - Woodside Place of Washington

About the role

The Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Med Tech at Woodside Place of Washington provides support to residents with activities of daily living and assists with medication administration. This role is part-time, casual, and flexible, offering starting pay ranging from $15.25 to $19.44 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, and self-care to maintain hygiene and dignity.
• Serves meals or monitors eating/drinking habits of residents.
• Accompanies residents to various activities and helps with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the Medication Administration Cycle, including observations, reporting, visits to practitioners, and proper storage and documentation of medications.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Complete certification requirements in Dementia Care and DHS Direct Care training during the orientation period.
• Obtain and maintain certification in Medication Administration, CPR, and first aid.
