About the role

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLS) at Strabane Woods of Washington, an assisted living community managed by Presbyterian SeniorCare Network.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLS)
  • Provide compassionate care that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of residents
  • Ensure residents are safe, secure, and comfortable
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Document resident care and medication administration accurately and timely

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents and team members
  • Teamwork and leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in senior living and/or memory care preferred
  • Med Techs must have a certificate in Medication Administration, including observation and insulin administration

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry, at least 18 years of age, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with residents and team members, teamwork and leadership experience preferred, experience in senior living and/or memory care preferred, and Med Techs must have a certificate in Medication Administration, including observation and insulin administration.

Pay

$16.74/hour - $21.75/hour; Depending on experience + up to a $500 sign-on bonus

Schedule

Evening Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends and holidays
